Bobcat is a Good Fit for Your Farm

Highly maneuverable in tight spaces, Bobcat compact equipment is a natural on the farm – whether it’s working in barns, pens, between buildings or in tandem with other machinery.

Skid-Steer Loaders for Farms and Ranches

When you think of a skid-steer, you probably immediately think construction. While you will see them on a lot of construction sites because they can quickly move dirt and debris, our complete line of Bobcat® attachments can turn any skid steer into a farmer’s best friend.

We put together a list of attachments that can help with your farming chores:

Mower: Farming normally means land, which means that mowing could very well be an all-day task. With a mower attachment on your skid steer, you’ll see cutting widths of up to almost 90 inches, helping you cut through your acreage faster.

Brush Saw: The grass is cut, but now it’s time to cut down the brush. Bobcat’s brush saw is equipped with a 28” high-tensile steel blade that helps you cut below grade.

Grapple Fork: When it’s time to move your hay bales, don’t do it by hand. Use a grapple or bale fork to stack, rearrange or transport your hay.

Tiller: Spring means planting, which means preparing gardens, nursery beds, food plots and small fields. Bobcat’s tiller attachment helps ready the ground for those chores by tearing up clumps and hardened materials.

Seeder: Tilling is done and now it’s time to plant. With a seeder attachment, you can plant over 2 acres per hour helping you can job done even faster.

Backhoe: Need to transplant a tree? Using a backhoe attachment can help you dig up trees, move to a new setting and replant them.

Stump Grinder: Removing a tree you’re not looking to replant. With Bobcat’s stump grinder’s carbide-tipped teeth, you can quickly remove tree stumps.

Rotary Broom: Looking to sweep off dirt, straw or leaves? With a rotary broom attachment, you can quickly clear paved areas or open land.

Box Blade: Now that the fields are tended to, it’s time to lay new gravel. With the help of Bobcat’s box blade, you can level out your driveway gravel in no time.

Auger: Looking to add a new fence? With the auger attachment, you can drill new holes as deep as almost 6 feet. Whether it’s a fence post or a hole for a new tree, don’t put your back in it, use a skid steer.

Concrete Mixer: Now the posts are in, it’s time to pour your footer. With a concrete mixer attachment, you can easily mix, transport and dump concrete faster. With a 6.9 cu ft capacity, it’s perfect for smaller, farming jobs.

Agricultural Attachments

With so much work happening on the farm, any way to save time ultimately means getting more work done at the end of the day. By adding the right attachment to a compact loader, telescopic tool carrier or the Toolcat utility work machine, you can make sure the work that has to get done, gets done efficiently and effectively. If you only occasionally require an attachment and ownership doesn’t make sense, consider renting an attachment from your local dealership.

Bobcat® attachments and implements help you grow your business, gain versatility, replace less-efficient machines and give you the tools to accomplish major projects.

Other Ways We Can Grow Your Ag Business

Agriculture has been in Bobcat’s roots since 1947 when we started developing farm machinery and attachments. Bobcat made the world’s first compact loader for turkey farmers. While Bobcat equipment is used in a variety of industries today, agriculture is still an important part of the company.
